About the Founder
Bright Neighbor founder Randy White was part of the city of Portland's Peak Oil Task Force- one of the first municipal work groups assigned with studying and preparing for the effects of the peaking and decline of the world's oil supply.
Randy went on to become part of one of the first comprehensive studies released on peak oil and suggested mitigation strategies in March 2007.
Since then, Randy has been developing the Bright Neighborhood platform to address the growing need for providing municipalities with online services and connecting communities with their own self-sustaining resources.
